Excellent Graphics, Wonky Gameplay / Physics
First let me start by saying this game is easily worth the $4 you pay. The graphics and especially the sound effects are extremely well done, and its a fun mix of strategy and blowing stuff up. A little bit like military chess only with paths and not squares. The biggest problem with this game is the physics of vehicles following the road are very unrealistic, making it difficult to get high score on the most difficult maps at the most difficult settings. Vehicles constantly pile up on one another and go through each other (like a ghost). It would be much better if the vehicles could veer off the road a little, slow down then pass instead of doing the "monster truck crush" or going straight through other vehicles. Also the maps where vehicles travelling opposite directions pass through one another… I sort of understand why the developer did it, but its not a great solution. I think once the paths and "bump against other vehicles" physics rules are improved, the game will be nearly perfect.
It just gets extremely frustrating towards the levels at and above 20 (on the Hard setting), where you have to restart the level over and over to try and overcome these limitations. No map should be so difficult that you have to spend hours to finish with 10 or 15 health left. :)
