This release often freezes my MBA. Need a update

Im an absolute fan of defense games since Fieldrunners and Plants vs. Zombies and so on. Till here, I would place Defense Zone 2 right on the top of all games from that genre. Its perfectly easy to understand, well designed and has an addiction level which is horrible. The graphics a very realistic and the sounds and music are really good as well. The level are smoothly balanced between gameflow and tactics. Its not too difficult and not too esay. Last update gave a unexpected new level 31 (thank you guys !) and Im absolute desperate to get my fingers on Defense Zone 3 !!! Their webpage states only "game is in development" but no further indications are made. Lets hope it wont be too long ?? Nice would be an added option to buy the Air-support with your earned money and not only to wait till the 100% are reached. However…. DZ3 will be a great game, Im quiet sure about it !!! Great work guys…keep it coming :)

Bar none, not just a great Tower defense game, THE BEST tower defense game ive ever played. Uber addictive, sick graphics and smooth gameplay. KEEP THE LEVELS COMING!

I agree with Mike 1234…. Ive played a lot of TD games, and this is in a class of its own. Brilliant graphics, sound effects, music, best of all, the game… fun on easy, a bit tricky on medium and still to defeat hard! Hours and hours of life…. well done, great app!

I love tower defense games and this is on of the best! 3 levels let you get familiar with the challenge before trying to concour the hard level. Silimar to the first Defense Zone which ws on of my favorites.

If you like TD games, and military scenarios with a post apocalyptic look feel, this game is for you! Outstanding blast wave effects, and when your’re wearing headphones, and the massive thump of the mortar kicks in you know your enemy is gonna be hurting! Im running this on an early 2010 MacBook Pro 8gb and it runs butter smooth. I really enjoy the new update and the fact the enemy now comes at you from multiple directions. Stay alert, stay awake, and stay alive!!

This game is great but its not working on my MacBook Pro It worked for about a week then it would not play. I installed the new update; that did not fix the problem. I unistalled the game and now I cant reinstall it from the app store. I will give it a five for great graphics but ZERO for play time since it is not working on one of my devices. PS it works just fine on the iPad.

**UPDATE** Still will not open after recent updates. I have tried removing and reinstalling several times to no avail…. Was great game until approx a week ago. DLd new update and no longer will open. Since have DLd another update thinking it might fix the glitch, but still doesnt work anymore. Will give 5 stars when fixed. 2.9GHZ i7 Mountain Lion 10.8.2

Even after I did the new update I still see the laser beams on the turrents get stuck for a few sec. But over all one of the best games out. Even though I have beat all the levels. I still play all the time. -Scot

Pretty basic game overall, some fun graphics, really addictive, and mainly just a blast!

The game itself is super addicting and actually very beautiful. It definately remindes me of the old Command and Conquer games, only better and much better looking. Totally worth the money if you like defense games!

First let me start by saying this game is easily worth the $4 you pay. The graphics and especially the sound effects are extremely well done, and its a fun mix of strategy and blowing stuff up. A little bit like military chess only with paths and not squares. The biggest problem with this game is the physics of vehicles following the road are very unrealistic, making it difficult to get high score on the most difficult maps at the most difficult settings. Vehicles constantly pile up on one another and go through each other (like a ghost). It would be much better if the vehicles could veer off the road a little, slow down then pass instead of doing the "monster truck crush" or going straight through other vehicles. Also the maps where vehicles travelling opposite directions pass through one another… I sort of understand why the developer did it, but its not a great solution. I think once the paths and "bump against other vehicles" physics rules are improved, the game will be nearly perfect. It just gets extremely frustrating towards the levels at and above 20 (on the Hard setting), where you have to restart the level over and over to try and overcome these limitations. No map should be so difficult that you have to spend hours to finish with 10 or 15 health left. :)

I loved this app, but just applied the new update and it no longer runs. Please figure this out and get it fixed. Update: No fix yet. Still not working. Uninstalled, reinstalled, no go. Not sure what the problem is, but would appreciate a fix.

Dont purchase this game until they get it fixed , it doesnt even load anymore they had a new update and now it doesnt work. Not worth the money if you cant play it … When running its a lot of fun

Looks like the dev took care of the issues and version 1.2.1 works great. The game itself is outstanding. It will provide hours & hours of entertainment AND replay ability. Graphics are superb, but the sound is INCREDIBLE. I suggest headphones to see what I mean. The mortars rumble and explosions make me smile. MacBook Air 1.7Ghz | 10.8.4

Everything about this game is well done. The graphics are nice, the audio is excellent, and the developer has updated it a few times since I bought it several months ago, adding a few levels, tweaking others, and fixing bugs. They do a far better job keeping their customers happy than some other developers whose software Ive paid for but ended up not using because of various technical issues.

This is your typical tower defense game, except the graphics and sound are fantastic.

Defense zone 2 is what Defense zone should have been in the first place and seems a little like an updated version of the first game. It does boast new maps, some cool new weapons and updated graphics and animations. This is better on my iPad than on my iMac. The pathing isnt always on spot and some of the maps are a little off on this version. Plus its kind of hard to place towers sometimes in the heat of battle, so you find yourself pausing the game to place a tower or two during hectic times. Its exactly like the first game, as far as gameplay goes. If youve played any Tower Defense (TD) games, youll be right at home. Its fairly strait forward TD fun! It is a good and solid game. I have never had any issues of crashing or anything for that matter. The additions and new towers make a huge difference! My iMac specs are: i5 Quad-Core 3.1GHZ, ADM Radeon HD 6970M with 1GB video RAM, 4GB system RAM, running OS X 10.6.8. This also runs fine on my PowerBook, Duo-Core 2.6GHZ, 256GB video RAM, 4GB, OS X 10.6.8. EDIT: TY so much for giving the Mortar & Tornado a 20% damage increase, as well as the new map!!! This game is so AWESOME!!! Changed my rating to 5 STARS!!! :-) Great support!

Level 1 seems great - but I bought this game and cant get to Level 2. If there were instructions I would have a better idea of what I am doing wrong.
